FE (Fume Extraction) Soldering Irons
Weller® FE soldering irons feature a smoke
absorption tube integrated into the handle.
It can be placed over the joint when soldering,
but can be retracted when access to the
joint is a problem. It can also be removed for
cleaning. The irons are temperature controlled,
ergonomic, and allow precise handling. These electronically-controlled irons can be driven
from any Weller power unit compatible with the
rating of the iron or any Weller rework station.
The range of iron power ratings and the extensive
range of solder tips mean that there is an
iron to suit all applications. FE soldering irons
are supplied with a burn proof hose 5 mm (0.19
in.) diameter, 2.5 m (98.42 in.) long.

FE Attachments
A range of FE attachments are available to fit
standard Weller soldering and desoldering irons
to convert them to fume extraction versions.
The attachments are supplied with all necessary
fittings and hoses. The performance of the
retro-fitted tools is not affected. For Weller soldering irons WP 120, WP 80,
WSP 80, WMP, MLR 21 or soldering irons with
handle diameter 10 – 13 mm (0.39 – 0.51 in.),
clip is attached to the soldering iron with a
silicone O-ring.
